# Alerts in Opsgenie

> The same incidents as PagerDuty, as Opsgenie alerts closed when they end, with one API key.

Atlassian has stopped selling Opsgenie and ends its support on **5 April 2027** ([Atlassian](https://www.atlassian.com/software/opsgenie/migration)). If you are moving to Jira Service Management, the [signed webhook](https://immiscible.fly.dev/docs/guides/signed-webhooks.md) or PagerDuty may suit better.

Opsgenie has no OAuth for this. In Opsgenie, add an **API** integration to a team, copy its API key, and paste it on the card with your region (US or EU). A test alert is created and closed before the key is kept.

The triggers and dedup keys are the [PagerDuty ones](https://immiscible.fly.dev/docs/guides/pagerduty.md). Each incident is an alert whose `alias` is the dedup key, so Opsgenie deduplicates it, and its end closes the alert by alias. Priority: P1 critical, P2 error, P3 warning.
